Ahhh I have been promising, I know!!!!
As most of you probably know, I have been struggling to create for months now.
Well I went away to the Uproar2Scrapmore Retreat on the Gold Coast at the beginning of this month. I took lots of stuff to do but only ended up creating one layout (Very sad effort) I was so disappointed with myself!!
BUT, I was actually very happy with the LO that I did! And it was even a photo of me that I scrapped! If you are my Facebook friends you will have seen my LO's and scrappy things that I made for the Retreat. But if not here they are!!!
We had to create 20 handmade embellies to place in each person's box that we created from a template. Here is my Box (not very exciting I must say)
And this was the standard of the rest of the boxes
And here are my embellies....And a lil present that I made everyone....
Inside these cute lil envelopes were tags and butterflies (Lots of Tags-Sizzlets and Beautiful Wings-Embosslits Dies from Stampin Up) I am sure that everyone enjoyed their lil gift. I know my dies got a work out at the Retreat. hehe!
If you need any Stampin Up products don't hesitate to call by my good friend Susan Hurley-Luke blog to contact her re products.
Ok here is what I did at the retreat....my darling daughter took this photo of me at the Southbank Napalese Temple, Feb 2010.And now here is one that I started and Kirsten Casey finished for me, then I put a title on it this week.
I am currently working on another LO of me and my bestest bud Jodie. And some cards that I have been meaning to finish since forever! Can't wait to share it with you all....Maybe over the weekend!!!
I do have to apologise to all of my blogger friends....I have been checking your blogs but just not leaving comments I am sorry!! Love what you all have been doing and all of your news!!!
It feels good to be back here adding something to my blog, now I might even go and update my photography blog....It has been way too long since I have been there too!!!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me your heartfelt comments. They put a smile on my face and lift my spirits. I really appreciate them, Luv Shaz xoxo

Scrappers Block....
Well as you all know I have had scrappers block for quite some time now, and it doesn't seem to matter where I am(Retreats @ Scrapbooking Premiere, Mackay and A Craft Affair on Anne, Magnetic Island) or what I am trying to produce....
I am still stuck with Scrappers Block!!!! GRRR.....
I have so many photos I want to scrap but nothing seems to inspire me!!!
So this morning while enjoying my morning coffee, Hetty had updated her blog so I was checking it out!!! OMG this girl is so clever and talented and I LOVE the way everything just looks perfect!!!
Hetty has some Extremely Talented Scrappers on her side bar and I came across this blog with this post....
Very Appropriate don't you think for me at the moment!!!
Anyways I just thought I would share some of things that I made on the weekend at A Craft Affair on Anne St Retreat (Townsville) on Magnetic Island. I was sick most of the weekend but I am happy that I got some of the classes completed even with no mojo!!!
This was our first Class on Saturday, Using MME Fine & Dandy - Tickled Pink PP!
I used pictures of my Best friend Wendy from boarding school days....
She came to visit me this year and it was so good to see her again!!!
I finally put a title on this LO that I did a few months ago....
We had a couple of challenges thrown at us....We had one hour to Create a DLO with a sketch from our OPRAH moment (Scrapbook Generation's Sketches for Scrapbooking Vol 1) And use the FREE Chipboard word(Beauty) on your LO!!!
These are my beautiful friends from the Gold Coast, Lisa K, Angie and Emma!!!
The next challenge was a pack and we had to only use the contents of the pack and 3 additional things. I used Cardstock as 1st, Tim Holtz Distress Inks as my 2nd and Chipboard Butterfly as my 3rd!!!
And finally this is the last project for the weekend....This is Leanne's Frame, I am still to finish mine!!! We used Tim Holtz products, Opals, Dimensional Pearls, And lots of other techniques!!! Can't wait to finish it!!!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me your heartfelt comments. They put a smile on my face and lift my spirits. I really appreciate them, Luv Shaz xoxo

A Long Overdue Post....Scrapbooking/Cards/OTP
I have had a full time job at Collinsville Connect Telecentre since July.
These are the girls I started working with, Sue - The Boss (back L) is going to have a back operation, Katie (back R) started a new job in July,
Sarah (front L) has gone on Maternity leave.
From 15th of Nov it will only be lil old me!!! I will be working 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri.
So I thought that I would share with you all of the things that I have done lately, I haven't really had much scrapping mojo this year. This is a LO and card that I did in August I think possibly for Papercraft Addictions!
This is actually all since Sept so I suppose I have been doing a bit lately. Some of you may have seen this if you are my Facebook friends hehe
7 Gypsies Handbag Album was done with Leanne at A Craft Affair in Townsville when she came to Collinsville for a market day. We used My Minds Eye PP - So Sophie and Tim Holtz products - Ranger Inks, Grunge Board, Crackle Paint, Stickles, Martha Stewart Round the corner punches ....OMG I have a new love!!!
Bit disappointed how they photographed, they are much more vibrant in real life.
These cards were for a Christmas Card Swap through Papercraft Addictions....
Got some lovely cards in return will take photos one day soon.
I just went away to a Scrapbook Premiere Retreat in Mackay with these girls For the Retreat we had to do a photoswap....This is what I did with 3 photos of this lil girl with her ginger kitten!
And Michelle Grant did this for me, I was so happy that she was my chosen photoswap person. These are photos of me with my son on his 21st in July.We had to decorate glasses for our dinner and Lea won with her Lady Beetle and Butterfly glasses
And this is what we made over the weekend.
This is a final photo of all of us girls before leaving the Retreat on Sun and then we got home to Lea we each decorated a lg playing card
and we are going to put this photo on the other side.
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me your heartfelt comments. They put a smile on my face and lift my spirits. I really appreciate them, Luv Shaz xoxo
