Happy Australia Day to one and all

Good Morning to all my beautiful friends in the blogging world. I want to first congratulate the people who have won awards in the various Australia Day functions around Australia. And welcome all of the people who have decided to become an Australian citizen.Welcome to this beautiful country that we live in.
Here in town we hold our very own special ceremony, 8 awards were presented here in our town today. The morning starts out with a free breakfast for the community. Then the raising of the flag and then the awards ceremony and cutting of the cake by the Citizen of the Year.
Here are just a couple of photos from the morning.

Later on this afternoon there is a function at the pub....Truck pulls, cockroach & toad races, various people holding stalls during the day, live music and what would Australia Day be without chucking a snag on the BBQ. Good family fun!!
Hope whatever you are doing today that you have a great day with your family or your friends or hopefully if you are new to this country or town you make some friends today.
Oh I forgot to add this LO....from 'I'll give it a go' challenge over at Scrapchat,
I have only recently joined this forum and it is lovely getting to know a heap of new girls. This LO is for Michelle, she only had the one photo of her son with his cricket bat from when they were camping, so I decided to go with the Australiana feel to this LO! Now I have uploaded a photo that I want someone to scrap for me.

Thank you for listening to me blab on but I do LOVE Australia Day. Thanks for all the comments that you have left for me on previous occasions so please feel free to leave me a comment again. Going for a bit of blog hop now. Luv Shaz xoxo
