I'm back on track for Daniek's Album!

Hello to one and all...Hope your weekend is great! Yesterday was a great day, got lots of scrapping done for Daniek's album. Today has been one of those days where I want to do some scrapbooking, but Kirrily keeps disturbing me cause she is also scrapbooking. GRRRRR!!!
Yesterday my friend Marissa came over to help me get motivated to finish Daniek's albums...If you are wondering who Daniek is....
She a beautiful young Dutch girl who came to live with us for 11 months as an exchange student from The Netherlands in Aug 06 and went back home in Jun 07. During her stay here I started working on an album for her to take home
with photos of everything that we did while she was living with us in 'country/outback' QLD. You see most of the other AFS kids got to live in cities when they came to Aust on exchange...But Daniek was happy to be living with us as she lives in a big city in Nijmegen, The Netherlands! She wanted to see everything that she had dreamed Aust to be. She didn't get to Ayers Rock, but she got most of her other dreams fulfilled.
So we took photos of everything we did!!! We took so many photos of her stay with us, I just couldn't not document every occasion we shared as a family and she shared with her friends. The album she is holding in this photo is the one that she took home with her, it contained only her first 4 months of her stay with us here! It had 93 pages that I did for her.

I have been very slack in Daniek's album department since she has left, but I am on a bit of a deadline now! Her 21st is in Sept 09 so I want to have the final 2 albums completed and sent to her by the end June so that she will get them before her birthday. I have done approx 58 pages for her so far. So I think that by the time I have finished both albums I will have done about another 140 pages. Yesterday while Marissa was here we got these 6 pages almost completed, I hope you like them they are very simple! They are very traditional Creative Memories style pages. Please don't hold that against me, I am still scrapbooking to preserve the memories. I also don't want the albums to weigh anymore than they do already. It's probably going to cost me at least $150 to send it to her OUCH!!!
I have been having so much trouble with my blog today, this is the 3rd time that I have wrote this out! It better post now or I will be cracking!!! Ok I am off now to get some scrapping done! More of Daniek's pages. Bye for now, hope you are having a relaxing weekend! Please feel free to leave me a comment and in return I will do the same for you Luv Shaz xoxo
